If you share your internet tablet with others (or if you’re worried about someone using it), you should clear some or all of your personal data from the Web Browser. This is to prevent others from viewing your browsing history or, more importantly, from gaining access to your password protected web accounts.

To clear personal data:

1. Open the Web Browser by selecting it from the Task Navigator.

2. Tap the title bar of the browser.

3. Select Tools, then select Clear.

4. Select the data you wish to clear, choosing from: Browsing history, Cache, Cookies, Passwords, or All personal data.

5. Confirm the action to clear the data.

The suggested method will NOT clear autotext data. Unique words that form part of typed URLs will continue in that autotext word completion dictionary. Nokia should fix this.
