bring back the super berries we loved them

Raspberries are horrible for coins! You have to factor in the 15 coins it takes to plant them, and when you sell them, your net profit is only 11 coins!

I found your site on google, great site, keep it up. Will return in the future. Submitted this post to Google News Reader. Please come visit my site Corpus Christi Yellow Page Business Directory when you got time.

raspberries are horrible for experience, you don’t get any for planting
September 8th, 2009 at 11:14 am
Raspberries are best if you do correct. Look at Raspberries cost and hour. Let me show you
Raspberries Cost = 20 Coins = To make = 35 Coins
Pay out = 46 Coins for 2 Hours = 552 Coins for 1 Day
Profit = 11 Coins for 2 Hours = 132 Coins for 1 Day
But you will get 2 exp by plow in 4 hours. As Raspberries are ready in 2 hours. Let see at Strawberries cost because Strawberries ready in 4 hours and only get 2 exp. It’s make no different.
Strawberries Cost = 10 coins = To make = 25 Coins
Pay out = 35 Coins for 4 hours = 210 Coins for 1 Day
Profit = 10 Coins per 4 hours = 60 Coins for 1 Day
If you have time, you will make more money by use Raspbeeries. I used that all the time. I am 14 level just in 2 days.

i was wondering how to get goats, ducks, pigs or do they come after different levels are achieved or as gifts… let me know, thanks
September 14th, 2009 at 8:50 am
Kerry, I got a pig as a gift from the game after I achieved a certain level (my memory fails me at the moment).
Don’t know about ducks or goats though!

Raspberry, everytime, everywhere! What about experience?
When you plow, you wi gain 1 xp.in 4 hours, you will plow 2 times, therefore 2 xp. same as strawberries, but 1 xp less

RASBERRIES SUCK FOR EXPERIENCE POINTS YOU DONT GET ANY WHEN YOU GROW THEM!!! GRAPES ARE AMAZING FOR BOTH YOU GET TWO EX POINTS WHEN YOU PLANT THEM AND SUBTRACTING THE PLOWING COINS YOU GET 255 PER HARVEST AND IT ONLY TAKES A DAY IF YOU HAVE A 16 X 16 FARM OR A 20 X20 FARM YOU COULD GET OVER 100,000 COINS A DAY

Frank Lois, raspberries are gud for xp, just as good as strawberries. as Josh said-
Raspberries are best if you do correct. Look at Raspberries cost and hour. Let me show you

I don’t understand Josh, Mustafa, and Simon saying that raspberries give the farmer 2 XP points in 4 hours as they are ready in 2 hours. Raspberries don’t give you any XP points at all. Where are they getting this 1 XP point per 2 hours calculation? Am I missing something?
I used to factor in the length of time it takes before I can harvest also and calculate the return of investment by day, but then I realized that all I need to do is make as many coins that I can by picking the crop that will give me the most for my investment (always including the 15 coins I need for plowing). For example:
Peppers - 85 investment (70 to buy, 15 to plow)
I harvest 162 in one day (per plot)
But if I have more time and patience, for the same amount of coins, I can invest in artichokes.
Artichokes - 85 investment (70 to buy, 15 to plow)
I harvest 204 coins in 4 days (per plot)
Each of those give the farmer 2 XP per plot.
In four days, I harvested at least 40,000 coins, able to expand my farm, replant for more coins. I was even able to go shopping for miscellaneous stuff such as a fruit stand that gave me 100 XP points. These XP points plus the ones that I received from planting bumped me to a new level, gave me a reward from Farm Ville and opened up better crops for investments. And my FV dollars increased!
If I didn’t have the 4 days to spare (and why wouldn’t I?), the peppers would have been a much better choice than raspberries or strawberries that I have to tend to every so many hours, just to come up with a little bit of coins at the end of the day. I need to sleep during the night and will not be able to harvest crops that will ripen and wilt within 4 hours. These little itty bitty crops require too much work and give less than 50% return on your investment.
The bigger crops let you relax and let your coins do all the work. 140% return on your investment on the artichokes and 90% return on the peppers. So what if it takes a little longer to harvest? You make more coins, dollars, and get to a higher level faster. Plus you get extra coins and XP points on the side!

Bobbi: The experience from the raspberries comes from when you plow the field.
October 22nd, 2009 at 7:39 pm
To compare crops, you need to get both of them in $/day. That is harvest price minus the cost of planting, minus 15 for plowing. Multiply the result by 24, and divide by the amount of time (in hours) it takes to grow the crop. Whichever $/day is higher, is the better crop. This assumes you’re harvesting as soon as possible every time.
Example: Strawberries: 35 - 10 - 15 = 10. 10*24 = 240. 240 / 4 = $60/day. So strawberries will make you almost $60/day if you spend all day harvesting.

Do neighbors have to play facebook or can they just be neighbors?

grapes are the best per day as far as level 29 goes thats where im at, u get 170 back in profit per plant, sunflowers are second 165 back, tats based on the 1 day ones, as next would be tomatoes but i cant plow 4 times a day, i do have a job
October 29th, 2009 at 5:27 am
I totally agree with K8 - grapes have done it for me so far, a huge profit in coins, 2 XP points and you get this in only one day!
November 1st, 2009 at 6:14 pm
I plant blueberries (for the experience) three times a day and plant what I call an over-night crop that will bring in the most coins in either a 8 hr period, tomatoes ROI=58 or a 12 hr period, carrots ROI=75. Lot’s of experience plus plenty of cash. I have been playing for almost a week and I am at level 24.

for me grapes is the best for all………

You should also calculate with the stress one will have, if you plow, plant and harvest every 2h a 22×22 field, so for me the one day crops are the best, and among them I prefer the peas with 3xp within 24h. They cost 190$, will bring 381$, so if you calculate with the costs for plowing, too, you will have 3xp and 381$-190$-15$=176$ win per day which is best among all one day crops.
If you want to gain most XP possible, buy and sell hay bales on and on, because the hay bales are the only product that has 5xp per 100$ instead of 1xp for 100$ which has every other product on the market.
I am level 33 now.

Does anyone know how to gain more FV notes at a faster pace than a snail’s crawl? I am on level 28 and still have gained only 20 in all the time it took me to get to this level. Thank you.

Grapes will give you the most coins. Grapes are 85 coins, plus 15 coins to plan is 100 coins spent. When you harvest the payout is 270. 270 made -100 coins spent is 170 coins in one day. Raspberries are good for quick money, but you cannot possibly plant them every two hours. Who can remember, or have time to plant every two hours?? Plus, it takes time to sow and reap. If you can, however, sit at your computer then tomatos are a good coin making crop. You reap every eight hours 232 coins. The next best coin producer is peppers, making 77 coins per day. Coffee makes 180 coins in one day, but growth time is 16 hours and you have to get back and that 16th hour to replant. Most coins are made on crops that grow in one day.

whats some tips/secrets/best crops for level 17 ?
January 23rd, 2010 at 12:13 am
Grapes are the best all-around crop, with decent experience and great pay. However, peas are the best if you mainly care about money, as they are the highest-grossing crop.
Sarah, I suggest you plant blueberries. They harvest quickly, bringing in a decent amount of experience and the most coins you can earn at this point…. As long as you harvest them on time, of course.
