We’re celebrating 6 months on the web with a contest!

Tomorrow marks our 6 month anniversary (YEY!) and because all of you guys have made this site such a joy to work on, we’re having a contest to give something back! If you want to participate, write a geeky or tech-related haiku and either post it in the comments or e-mail it to us. I will sort through the entries and choose the top three this weekend (be sure to include an e-mail address with all entries, don’t worry, they won’t be given out to anyone, it’s just to notify you if you win). Winners will be announced on Monday, October 31, 2005. So what are the prizes?

  1. First place will receive a $50 (USD) Amazon or iTunes gift card (your choice)
  2. Second place will receive a $25 (USD) Jinx.com gift certificate
  3. Third place will get a free book from No Starch Press (our choice)

    Does it matter what message subject you send them under?
    I submitted under “miscellaneous” and another entry under “submit an article.” 2 different entries that is.
