PC Magazine has put together a roundup of what it considers to be the top 5 social bookmarking sites (I assume…the list seems fairly random to me) which includes Clipmarks, del.icio.us, Jeteye, Shadows, and Yahoo!’s My Web 2.0. The ratings do seem pretty accurate to me (My Web 2.0 gets top nods, del.icio.us a horrible rating), though I’d like to have seen other, in my opinion, better services like Simpy and BlinkList, as well as other popular ones like Furl or Spurl. Maybe next time…

I guess you could call this a hardware review, but in fact it’s a product to help your hardware. Some may know what heatsink lapping is while others may have no idea what it could be, or if it’s even important to do. A lot of PC modders use heatsink lapping to provide better cooling on their CPU while using air cooling. If you’re still using air cooling then by all means this is the way to go, since liquid cooling is much more efficient than air. While all lapping kits are different PCViper uses another method to get the same job done, and it seems so much easier than the rest. In this review, I’ll be discussing the Ultrakit-heatsink lapping kit provided by PCViper.

Most computer cases are made out of steel and aluminium, but there are companies which offer acrylic cases as well. There’s something about being able to see inside your case that makes acrylic cases better than traditional cases. Acrylic enclosures have been around the modding community for some time now and are widely used. ClearPC is one manufacturer of acrylic cases, and they do very high quality work. ClearPC was kind enough to provide us with one of their new designs, the Secret Agent “Briefcase” and this is what we found.
